Brushy Creek
Brushy Creek is a municipal utility district located in the area of Williamson County in Texas, United States of America. Formed on October 27, 1977 as Williamson County Municipal Utility District No. 2, Brushy Creek is occupied by a population of about 15,371 citizens as found at the 2000 census. Brushy Creek increased its district's area to a total of 2210 acres during an annexation that happened in 1983. Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District was named as such only on August 31, 1990.

The district of Brushy Creek is composed of two areas that are considered non-contiguous. One area is found between Sam Bass Road and the F.M.1431, which is Brushy Creek North. The other area is located between Brushy Creek and F.M. 620. Neighboring areas around Brushy Creek include, Sendero Springs, Hillside, Cat Hollow, and the Meadows.

Brushy Creek is a very friendly community, with its residents pushing for more people to move in and join them in the many residential areas within the municipality. There are always a lot of community activities in Brushy Creek, Texas, and its parks and other community areas for many events and gatherings. Originally, the district was created and formed in order to support the development of the area in Brushy Creek North.
