Ben Wheeler-Edom is a city of many festivities. Every April, The city organizes "April in Edom", an old fashion street fair that is sure to grab the attention not only of the "older" fashion enthusiast generation but also the young ones. Two months later, the city holds another festivity that is as grand. Ben Wheeler-Edom celebrates the American Independence day by offering a grand fireworks display for the tourists and its residents to enjoy.
The Edom Festival of the Arts is another worth-visiting festival in the city. Every third weekend of October, the city displays the finest and most unique art pieces in the whole Texas. Aside from crafts this festival also showcases authentic Texan music.
Of course, every city in Texas (and in the whole United States for that matter) celebrates Christmas. But Ben Wheeler-Edom's brand of holiday carousal extends from just planting a life-size Christmas tree in the city center. During Decembers, apart from setting up a pretty Christmas tree for everyone to see, the city's local government also invites santa as well as organizes bazaars that sell affordable items. It is also only in Ben Wheeler-Edom where tourists can witness the colorful Holiday trail of lights display.
And, the city is also the home of the "Trail Ride" Texan event where tourists can get the feel of the old west. During this festivity, they can experience trail riding with mules, horses and chuck wagons.
